Let's make every day unique and let's keep it in our memory.
Achievements of the day:
1) I finished archiving and back upping all of our digital pictures.
They're 42k right now.
It was one of those waiting since forever nagging tasks that I completed in two days (extreme satisfaction!).
And it was nice to find some old little pearl like the one on the left, reminding me of the period when we were obsessed with flying pictures!
The only drawback: now I have a clear picture of the huge amount of work I'll have to do to categorize all of the pictures and maybe print some of them in some nice format.
We spent 4 hours in the open air swimming pool in my little town.
I know it may sound stupid, but this was for me the symbol of my free time with my daughter. I am waiting for it since a long time and it was a really well spent time.
She spent her entire afternoon going down the slides in the pool, we chatted for a long time, she laughed so much, and after some hours, she asked me to go home to eat a big afternoon snack and to rest.
3) We had a big mediterranean healthy afternoon meal in her new reading nook
This was a symbol too for me: we just finished renovating her room and we created a small reading nook under her bed. She didn't know about the room until she came back from her grandparents' home some days ago. She loved it, and this made me so happy.
So yesterday she asked me to have our snack in her nook, which is not easy for me since I am nine months pregnant, but it was great, and extremely healthy!
